Support the Sheldon Jackson Museum
Donate
You can support the Sheldon Jackson Museum by making a donation to Friends of the Sheldon Jackson Museum. Contribute to the Native Artist Residency Program, Exhibitions, Public Programs & Education, or New Acquisitions, or make a general donation.
Volunteer Docents
Docents provide tours to museum visitors and are trained through a series of lectures given by experts on Alaska subjects, including Alaska Native cultures, mining, natural history, early exploration and the arts. If you enjoy public speaking, connecting with people, and are passionate about Alaska, this could be a great fit.
Other Volunteer Opportunities
The Friends of the Alaska State Library, Archives & Museum also has volunteer opportunities, including hosting First Fridays, assisting with youth activities, serving on committees, assisting with special events, and more.
If you are interested in a different volunteer activity at ASM than those listed above, please fill out the volunteer application and indicate what volunteer activity you'd like to perform.
